The Holy Roman Empire or HRE for short, is a long-standing feudal empire that has existed on Terra in the Sol System for more than 1,000 years. It is ruled over by an imperial family, with the current von Habsburg Dynasty having been on the throne since 1438 CE.

The Holy Roman Empire, being a feudal empire, focuses on subjugation of other powers, and the resulting diplomacy amongst these vassal states rather than diplomacy with other galactic powers.
