IRIS is the home system of the IRIS Datalink. It is a unary star system with one major habitable planet, IRIS Core.
IRIS Core
IRIS Core is a planet located within the IRIS star system. The entire planet is made up of a machine intelligence, built long ago by unknown precursors. Given that the Primary Link of the IRIS Datalink is part of the planet itself, the planet acts as the center of the machine intelligence. Without it, the IRIS Datalink would likely struggle to exist.
